Bobby Collins is an American born artist who is currently based in Berlin. After working for several years as a hair & make-up artist for fashion, advertising, editorial and film in both the USA and Europe, in the mid 90′s, he switched to fashion photography in the beginning of 2000. Many of the photographers he worked with had supported him and helped him along with their guidance. By the mid 2000′s while now spending most of his time in Europe, his interests had manifested to a more artistic interest in photography, allowing him to have full control of his endeavors in the medium. Having travelled frequently throughout his life, to many parts of North America. Europe and The Middle East, he developed a large reference to social and political issues of which, he likes to express through his own personal interpretation, that tends to reflect the people closest around him, sometimes shooting or working with them, or emulating the relationship he has (had) with them through photos or through what is sometimes referred to as fauxtography aka conceptual Photography.
